Cro minute movie cup:

Got to the final in the Croatian minute movie cup! It was the most amazing experience and I highly recommend going! They were so nice - just for getting in to the final I was offered free Hotel, food, alcohol and entertainment for me and my girlfriend - how could I not go! So off I went to the hot sunny Pozega in Croatia. I was there for 4 days and they put on things for us on 3 of those days - apparently there was more before I arrived as well! We had many banquettes and visited a brandy factory and a hunting lodge in the countryside - it was all great fun. And the main event in the town centre was very impressive. OFFCUTS07:

I won! I was totally shocked but I actually won offcuts07! It's the first thing I have ever won! I was in the category 'one size fits all'.

I did video some of the event but unfortunately I forgot to recharge my camera fully and I only had 30 minutes battery time. So - sorry to the acts and videos I didn't video...It was also quiet dark and my microphone only picked up the sounds around me so the clips are a bit naff but here they are anyway:

VIDEOS: Some bits from the show: Not many because my battery ran out!

My video being screened: As I said before my mic picks up the sounds nearest to me, in this case - people talking around me but there were hundreds of people at the event! They are watching my video, honest! I was holding the camera without looking through the view finder so it goes a bit wonky at times.

Me wining the award: I was holding the camera at the start so it goes wobbly for a bit. I almost don't want to show this video as I was drunk and shocked and didn't know what I was doing! My camera's mic didn't pick up everything I was saying at least!

Other:

The trophy:   Didn't expect to get this but here it is - really please with this! And this is the first trophy I have ever won!

The mark sheet: looks a little bit scribbly but it was very dark in there!

 

My video got in to the final of offcuts 07 after getting through the semi-finals! Thanks to all who voted!

This was an event in Brighton called Dscape which my video was used for. I do appear in the showreel but you have to wait for ages!

The Duke of York event with my film in (see below) is part of the cine city festival. If your going you might need to get a ticket before the day. Here is the site:

My film 'Faster Bigger Better More' will be on at the Duke of York's cinema on the 18th of November at 2pm. A still of my film is being used as promotion for the event, although I have nothing to do with it really apart from the promotion and my film being shown (I'm not one of the seven film makers). Any way, here's the still:
